I suspect Ruth will love this. Library Thing is a website that allows you to catalog all your books! Have a look at Tim Spalding’s book collection

You should NEVER have told me about this. I’m going into cataloguing heaven now, see you in a few years. Bye!
If you have a Mac (and I know you don’t Dave but bear with me) then there’s a very cool application called Delicious Monster. It’s not a very descriptive name but it kind of does the same thing as your post. It doesn’t work natively online but you can import data from Delicious Monster into LibraryThing. Amongst its many features is the input mechanism for the books, DVDs, videos and games that you can import; you simply scan the barcode on the book, game etc and it grabs the information from Amazon. Suggest you check it out.

The guy the set up the company also has an interesting blog.
Actually correcting my own post, the application is called Delicious Library and the company is Delicious Monster.
