Automated “What I’ve been listening to” blogger

The Problem
This is something I quite like the idea of. I’ve seen things for the Mac where it automatically uploads the currently playing track but since I listen to most music at work on my iPod I need something that will work at the end of the day
The Plan
- Create a playlist containing the top ten most recently played songs
- Use the iTunes COM Library to grab contents of the above laylist
- Use XML:RPC to post it to my blog
- Wonder why I bothered because nobody cares anyway
