I’ve finally got fed up with Outlook timing out when I use IMAP on my server so I’ve switched to Thunderbird and I’m impressed so far. It was simple to configure and it’s dead quick. It also doesn’t timeout when I download lots of messages! It’s a shame none of the destop search engines I’ve found so far seem to index Thunderbird emails.
